Well done to the MGL U14 Academy squad as they won the Viking Cup in Waterford. Rush Ath Superstar Isibeal Carolan who is part of the MGL U13 was drafted in and was fantastic scoring a hat trick in the first game yesterday morning. With the MGL losing 1 nil in the last game and needing a draw to win the tournament Izzy went on a super run which resulted in her being taken down inside the area and she was awarded a peno. The peno was converted which gave the MGL the point they needed...Rush Ath have developed a fantastic player in Izzy and there is a lot more to come.
