U10s Narrowly Lose Out in Semi Final
Fantastic evening for the Under 10s semi final away to Woodlawn Sportslink. A super game with Rush dominating and we had plenty of chances and it wasn't long before we were 1-0 up. But just before halftime Woodlawn got their equaliser. Woodlawn scored again after half time but Rush heads never went down and they battled on and with only 4 minutes left Rush got their equaliser bringing the game to extra time. But it was still all even after extra time and the game was decided on the penalty shoot out. It wasnt going to be Rush Athletics day even with Super keeper Ryan Stirrat in goals saving 3 of the penos but it wasn't to be and Woodlawn go through to the final winning 2-1 on penalty shoot out!
A fantastic game with all the players giving everything and on another day would have came away winners. Well done and hard luck to all the lads - you did your club and your supporters proud this evening. Keep your heads up
