Pimp My Barrow Competition for the Rush St. Patrick's Day Parade

Dear Rush Business Person/Community Organisation,

You may be aware of the new organisation called ROOTS which has become active in the town.  Our aim is to promote sustainable lifestyles by encouraging people to grow and/or eat more locally produced food.  This year we hope to establish allotments, a community garden, training in organic gardening,  a major  food festival and lots more.  Our first promotion is the Pimp My Barrow Competition which will take place as part of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the town on March 17th.

If you are not already taking part in the parade, we hope you will consider decorating a wheel- barrow (or simply painting on you company name or logo)  and  walking with  ROOTS in the parade.

We hope to have 100 wheelbarrows on the street so don’t be left out.  It’s a great opportunity to promote your business and to support ROOTS.  If you don’t want to push your barrow, we can provide a ‘pusher’ for you.  If you don’t have a barrow, we can supply you with one at a reduced rate.

It costs only 3 Euros to enter a barrow and there’s a super hamper brimming with local food and drinks  for the most creative entry. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further information or advice.
